It all started with a Napkin

In early 2014, the Bounty company connected with Garth Callaghan and his daughter, Emma. They wanted to start a social networking campaign asking parents to share their own Napkin Notes via social media. For each post using the hashtag #Napkins4Emma, Bounty would donate $1 to Emma's college fund. Garth was touched by this for two reasons. First, Bounty know that Garth didn't write his daily Napkin Note on their product, and they didn't care. This story was more about bringing families together. Secondly, Bounty recognized that Garth and his wife, Lissa, had probably neglected Emma's college fund over the three years he battled cancer. Bounty was absolutely correct. This act, this seemingly small act from Bounty's perspective, was "big" for the Callaghan family. It was a "little big thing."  In the end, Bounty committed to $20,000.

Garth is taking the spirit of this action and creating a scholarship fund through the Napkin Notes Foundation. He intends to provide financial assistance to those students in need; students whose parents have battle cancer and have neglected the college fund due to the high financial cost of fighting cancer.
